Mission Statement

Will BMF Training make you stronger? Absolutely.  Will BMF Training make you faster?  Definitely.  Will BMF Training make you look better naked?  Without a doubt.  All of these things will happen naturally through smart, consistent BMF training and proper nutrition.  However, none of these represent the core of what BMF Training is designed to do.  This is more than just a “tough workout.” 

BMF Training will prep you for life, turn you into a better person, and make you as hard to kill as possible.

  • Prepare you for life

    Life is always full of obstacles and challenges.  Sometimes it can be physical while other times, it’s mental, emotional or even financial.  You can never always know what these challenges will be or what the future will hold.  However, the one thing you can control is how prepared you are to face these problems. Having the right mental attitude, capacity for hard work and self-discipline will allow you to tackle any issue, deal with it, and prevent major disruption to your normal life.

    There are good lessons to be learned from stepping up to a heavy barbell and knowing you have a grueling movement complex to complete (set of exercises all performed back-to-back without setting the bar down).  It’s going to be hard and it’s going to be a challenge and there is also no way around it.  You have to get it done.  The only thing you can do is grit your teeth, cowboy-the-fuck-up and get through it.  No amount of whining or complaining is going to get that barbell off the floor just like no amount of whining and complaining is going to solve your problems.  Life does not give a shit if you succeed and neither does the barbell.  Toughen up, take control of that barbell (life) and get it done!  Make life happen for you not to you!

  • Turn you into the best potential version of yourself

    None of us can help our genetics.  Our DNA is the “cards” we are given at birth by our parents and there is nothing we can do to change them.  However, any good poker player knows that it’s not the hand you’re dealt, it’s how you play that matters.  Similarly, BMF Training will help you maximize your potential.  With consistent training and smart nutrition you can become a better version of yourself than you’ve ever dreamed of.

    Once you start BMF Training, you will begin to look and feel better.  Your sleep will improve and you’ll have more energy throughout the day.  You will find yourself wanting to do the things you’ve always been too tired, stressed, or busy to do.  You will be a better spouse, parent, sibling, or child.  You will be able to be the person you’ve always wanted to be and more.

  • Make you as hard to kill as possible

    No-one wants to die and, unless you are psychic, there is no telling when that end will come.  Cancer, diseases (both environmental and genetic), accidents, and the ever increasing likelihood of a zombie apocalypse are all very real possibilities.  Ok, fine, I’m kidding about the last one but you get the idea.  If you are in poor health (suffering from chronic fatigue, depression, high blood pressure, poor cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, persistent digestive problems, and are on multiple medications) how capable do you think your body is of handling some new stressor?  Nature has a great way of killing off the “weak” among us and it is up to us to make sure we don’t fall into that category.  You only get one body and you must take care of it.
